A good and positive turnout at ASEANPLAS 2005 with - 7,956 trade visitors from 53 countries - 352 exhibiting companies from 29 countries
ASEANPLAS 2005 welcomed 7,956 trade visitors from 53 countries. 42 percent were overseas visitors with the majority coming from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. There was also a good turnout from India, China and Philippines. Visitors were able to interact and network with 352 exhibiting companies from 29 countries and economies including national groups from Austria, China, Germany, Italy and Singapore present at the 4-day exhibition.

Minister of State for Finance to open ASEANPLAS 2005 Trade visitors to sample latest innovations at the ASEAN Plastics Technology Showcase
ASEANPLAS incorporating ASEANRUBBER 2005 is fast approaching, with more than 300 companies from 23 countries and economies having confirmed their participation at Southeast Asia’s leading international trade fair for plastics and rubber. This includes country group representations from Austria, China, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and USA.
Guest-of-Honour Mrs Lim Hwee Hua, Singapore’s Minister of State for Finance and Transport, will officially open ASEANPLAS at 10.30 am on 26 April at a ceremony in Hall 4.

ASEANPLAS – An Update
From 26 to 29 April 2005, some 300 world leading companies from more than 20 countries including country group representations from Austria, China, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and USA will converge at Singapore Expo to showcase the best in plastic and rubber machinery, equipment, products, services and raw materials. Exhibiting companies who have booked their space have come to acknowledge that Southeast Asia is a region that cannot be ignored. It is a region with dynamic growth potentials and most importantly a region that is willing to adapt to changes and embrace forward-looking technologies.

ASEAN Plastics Technology Showcase to Highlight Solutions for Success - Support from Singapore’s A*Star Plastic Moulding Task Force –
ASEANPLAS incorporating ASEANRUBBER 2005, Southeast Asia’s leading international trade fair for plastics and rubber, will be staged at the Singapore Expo from 26 to 29 April 2005 with an added bonus in store for trade visitors and exhibitors. The ASEAN Plastics Technology Showcase will be held in conjunction with ASEANPLAS with the express objective of introducing the latest technologies and new markets accessible to plastics processors throughout the region and beyond in a dedicated and focused display area. The Technology Showcase will draw on input from research institutes, exhibiting companies and plastic processors to highlight enabling technologies and business opportunities to trade visitors under several themes selected for their particular relevance to the ASEAN region.
